American Governor Awarded USACE Broken Bow and Keystone Governor Conversions

Ivyland, PA – American Governor Company (AGC) has been awarded a contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers‘ (USACE) Tulsa District to digitally convert two (2) Pelton Mechanical Governors each at its Broken Bow and Keystone power plants. At Broken Bow, AGC will modify and re-use the existing Pelton PMG and provide a Pelton EHI Assembly to modify the controls for its 50MW Francis turbines. At Keystone, AGC will also modify and re-use the existing Pelton PMG and provide a Pelton EHI Assembly to modify the controls for its 35MW Propeller turbines. Following the Corps’ installation of the upgraded units, AGC will start-up and commission the units.
