Ivyland, PA – American Governor Company (AGC) has been awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to provide digital governor conversion equipment and commissioning services for the Tiger Creek powerplant. The existing Woodward Mechanical Cabinet Actuator will be converted to digital control to enhance flow coordination with an upstream powerplant. The governor oil system, main distributing valve, piping and servomotors will be retained and reused.
This is the second of two units to be upgraded by American Governor.
