Focus Workshop: Woodward Analog
Check back for 2022 dates!

In response to customer requests for smaller factory training courses concentrating on a single governor type, we are pleased to offer a Woodward Analog Electric Actuator Focus Workshop. Whether you are an experienced governor technician or just starting out as an apprentice electrician, this two-day intensive workshop will enhance your knowledge of this governor type. Focus Workshops allow for more hands-on time and less classroom time, which is ideal for technicians who are responsible for maintaining governors including tuning, adjusting and troubleshooting.

Our trainers have decades of experience building, calibrating and repairing Woodward governors, and auxiliaries, and hydraulic pressure systems. Our Training and Repair Center features an instrumented Module Test rack with a Pilot Control Assembly Hydraulic Test Stand to replicate a full-size Analog Electric Cabinet Actuator system in operation with a Turbine Simulator. Real-world complications will be introduced into the governor, and attendees will be challenged as a group to find and correct them. The intensive troubleshooting sessions, combined with smaller class size, are what make Focus Workshops such an effective training tool for your maintenance crew.
