PMG Service
PMGs also have a very long useful life, but they do need periodic maintenance, and voltage can degrade over time. Our Factory Repair and Training Center in Wisconsin offers a full range of services for both Woodward and Pelton units, including:
Overhaul
• Disassemble, clean and inspect
• Upper and lower bearing replacement
• Test and verify PMG output voltage
• Test and verify Speed Switch settings
Remagnetization
Stator Lead Repairs
Auxiliary Speed Switches
These switches run at a multiple of turbine speed and require more frequent overhaul. In addition to offering overhaul parts for field replacement, we also offer reconditioned speed switches and factory speed switch overhauls. Each overhauled speed switch will be tested and adjusted on our speed switch test stand to match your specified trip settings.
