Ivyland, PA – American Governor Company (AGC) has been awarded a contract by AmerenUE to provide governor engineering services and retrofit hardware to update the first of eight Voith digital controllers at their Osage Bagnell Dam hydro plant. The Osage units operate at 112.5 RPM and are rated from 22MW to 34MW at 90 ft. net head.

Bagnell Dam was the largest – and last – major dam in the U.S. to be built with private investment. It is one-half miles long, 148 feet high, and impounds 600 billion gallons of water to create Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks – one of the largest man-made lakes in the world.
