HMI Systems Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems offer an alternative operator interface to traditional meters and switches. American Governor supplies a color touchscreen with our digital conversions that provides local control and monitoring of unit operation. This menu driven touchscreen system provides the following capabilities:     • Local Control of the Unit     • Local Display of Unit Information     • System Alarm Display     • Input / Output (I/O) Status Display     • Event Log (data storage optional)     • Basic Trending of Unit Data (data storage optional)     • Access to Tunable Parameters for the Unit     • Serial Port for Printing Click on any of the images below to see a larger view of the operator interface. These are designed to be desktop operator workstations that provide an overall view of plant operation beyond the unit governors.
